I pursued the classical path because it was the only one shown to me. I earned two music degrees—doing everything "right," hoping it would lead me home to myself.

But instead, it nearly silenced me.

I was told I'd never make it, that I didn't sound like I belonged. I battled extreme vocal tension and deep artistic disconnection. After graduation, I nearly gave up on singing altogether.

What saved me?

Singing for myself. Not for applause. Not for the version they trained me to be. Just... for the joy of it.

I spent next to a decade gigging full time—weddings, events, teaching, directing—staying booked and busy in the music scene. I even taught voice at a legendary Visual and Performing Arts High School,

pouring into brilliant youth who reminded me of myself.

But still—something deeper was calling.

When I finally stopped resisting, I was cracked wide open.

What I thought was about singing became something much more sacred—a knowing of why I came here.

I didn't come here just to sing songs.

I came here to transmit codes. To free voices. To shift timelines through sound.
